WHERE:                      ENSWORTH HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC FIELDS (RIVER FIELDS)

The Southwest Nashville Football League is again sponsoring a flag football league for first & second, third and fourth grade boys for six Saturdays beginning Saturday, September 11, 2010.  The games will be played on the Ensworth High School Athletic Fields.  There will be teams of 8 to 14 boys per team, so registration will be limited.  Please mail your registration as soon as possible.  The form along with payment must be received by August 20, 2010 to ensure participation.

The flag football league is designed to be an introduction to organized football, and as such, the league focuses on instruction and fun.  The only required equipment is a mouthpiece. The league will furnish game jerseys at the first game.  Each Saturday will begin with a few minutes of instruction on the basics of football.  The majority of the time will be spent playing games.  The teams are coached by parent volunteers so we encourage and appreciate all volunteer support.  It usually takes two or three parents per team.  The coaches will meet prior to the first game to establish the teams.
